Francesca, Me! November 26, 2007

    In public school I was submitted to the regular bore of having to write dull fill-in-the-blanks that were already half written for you. They were wrongly titled, “written” reports, and I loathed them. They always started like; My name is _____________. I am in _____________ grade. I go to school at ____________ elementary. I’m doing my best to write my bio differently, so you’ll actually enjoy reading it. Alot of the kids my age have very different Ideas about things then I do. For example, they look up to role models like move stars, actors, and singers. I’m not saying that’s wrong, just different from me. Some of my roll models are; Theodore Roosevelt, JK Rowling,  Joan of Arc, and Shel Silverstien.

My name is Francesca, I an in 6th grade, eleven years old and live in Austin, Texas, with my parents, two little brothers and a dog. It wasn’t  always like that. We had two dogs, and a cat. I was my parents first child. Both of my grandparents lived near by.  My earliest memory is when I was sitting on the back door stair coming from my Nana’s kitchen feeding pidgins bread crumbs. My mom had to be sent away to a hospital until we got rid of the cat because she was so alergic.

When I was three, December 10, 1999, Robert, one of my younger brothers was born. Then we moved to a new neighborhood in Maryland. By that time I was going to preschool at a church nearby.  I stayed there halfway through  kindergarten,  until we moved to Outer Banks North Carolina and I continued elementary school there. That did not last long. Then, in my opinion, I had much better things to do than lock myself up in my room and read and write like I do now. I HATED school. My first grade teacher thought of me as not the smartest in the class because I was a natral at daydreaming, read the first three letters of words and geussed what they were, and because I talked alot and asked questions without raising my hand. I was so board. That is why my mom pulled me out of school and home schooled me. I swiched a couple schools, then I moved to Austin, swiched schools, and eventuly end up where I am now. That’s Me!
